Yemi, originally from Nigeria, started her career early at the tender age of 16 when she became a Top 5 Finalist for Face of Africa in 2005.

After a whirlwind introduction into the fashion industry she returned to Nigeria to finish up her studies in international relations and strategic studies, while still working as a model part time. After she completed her degree (the epitome of beauty AND brains), Yemi made it to the Top 3 in the Elite Model Look, as well as appearing in season one of Africa's Next Top Model.

Yemi is a true ambassador for the advancement of women in Africa and having such a cause close to her heart, Yemi gets involved in as many social upliftment projects as her busy schedule allows.
