Alyssa was born and raised in Pietermaritzburg. She found her passion in the fashion and social media industry where she started her career in Johannesburg as a local events host, while studying and gaining experience. Later she proudly graduated with a degree in Communications and Business.

Alyssa moved to Cape Town where she was scouted by Boss Models which, in her own words, "allowed her to grow into herself and see the world differently".

Alyssa takes immense pride in encouraging every women on her own path to self-esteem.
