Lee Thompson, half German half British, was born in Port Elizabeth and raised in Pretoria. After graduating high school he studied business commerce at UNISA and completed a Fitness training course through the University of Pretoria.
Lee pursued his athleticism and played professional rugby for the Sharks for five years in Durban, KZN.
Lee was forced to retire and hang up his boots after a sports injury rendered him unable to play.
It was at this point that he then decided to become a full time model.
After an extensive stint of travelling for modelling assignments around the world, Lee settled down in Cape Town where he decided to flex his business acumen by opening up his own gym, Instatrain Fitness Studio, located in Seapoint.
Lee has been featured on the cover of Men's Health eight times, worked for GQ style and has appeared in campaigns for Pringle of Scotland, Old Khaki and Jeep.
