Antara predominantly grew up in Durban, then Johannesburg, and in her early years she travelled extensively throughout Africa with her advocate parents, She spent a year in Rwanda. Her parents lifelong commitment to human rights inspired her passion for people and service, pushing her to one day want to become a lawyer too.
She is currently studying a BA degree at UCT, working towards obtaining her law degree.
Antara is passionate about activism and has been heavily involved in the anti GBV protests in Johannesburg.
Antara travelled to rural Ecuador to help build a school to teach exiled Tibetan monks English in Dharamshala, home of the Dalai Lama. She also volunteered at The Village Safe Haven orphanage.
